This huge statue of the 'Risen Christ' can be seen across a distance from several vantage points in Medjugorje. The statue rises out of the Cross which is lying on the ground with the imprint of Christ's body contained in it. The Stations of the Cross are placed all around it and this is a place where there is silence for prayer. The walk to the Risen Christ passes the beautiful mosaics of the Rosary of Light.
