Medjugorje - St James's Church

St James's Church, with its familiar twin towers, is the focal point of Medjugorje. This very large Church was built in the 1930's when Medjugorje was just a small village. No-one could foresee then how this Church would one day be filled many times a day for Masses, every day of the year and would, in fact, need an extension at the back to try to accommodate all the people.

ST JAMES'S CHURCH, MEDJUGORJE ... always crowds of people waiting for Mass in their own language. The Church will be full as well. Mass is said in a different language every hour of every day.
