| Annie spends a week in Bosnia in January 2010.
Annie has recently returned from spending a week in Bosnia, staying with Nensi and Vinko in their home - 'the house that Vinko built!' They have an addition to the family now! Baby Emanuel was born on 23 December and is a most beautiful baby, bringing much joy to his parents.
Annie had a great time with Nensi and Vinko and baby Emanuel. Think they saw her as an Angel arriving to help them! So much to do with a first baby! A few days after her arrival, Annie was a guest at the Baptism of baby Emanuel, a wonderful occasion.
While there, Annie visited the Maternity Hospital she always visits taking medical aid specifically for use there and baby blankets and other knitwear - knitted by the good ladies of Bourne Abbey Church in Bourne, Lincolnshire.
The morning before Annie was due to come home, they awoke to the big surprise of thick snow and wondered if they would even be able to get down the hill and drive to Dubrovnik the next day. They had to check the airport was open. It was and the drive was fine, the roads were clear, and Annie arrived safely back, late at night at Gatwick but on time!
When Annie can find the time - she is a busy midwife in Coventry - she will write a report of her visit to be added to this website and she will add pictures.
Can't wait Annie ...!
