December 2009 It is just before Christmas and we are nearly ready to send our lorry of aid to Bosnia. We have been collecting and storing this for sometime and we now need to raise funds URGENTLY to get everything to Mostar to be distributed where it is most needed. We are aiming for early in the New Year ... and we need your help. If a HUGE number of people would send us just £1 - more if they feel able - then we will be able to get everything there. The needs are very great. There is nothing sold there that is secondhand, as we have here, and we are sending s/h sewing machines, knitting machines, tools of every description for every kind of trade or work imaginable to help people generate income in a country where there is no benefits system and very little work. We are sending wheelchairs, blankets and everything for babies and the elderly - and everyone else in between. We have a team of people involved, now we just need enough funds to transport everything. The LORRY left Leamington on Friday 16 July 2010 and arrived safely in Mostar on Tuesday 20 July. That is truly answer to PRAYER and we are all giving THANKS continually for this happy ending to the long saga of getting this lorry of aid to Bosnia!
