| Fuel for the lorry
We need to raise money FAST for fuel for the lorry of aid we want to send to Bosnia before this Winter. People are waiting to receive it and distribute the contents - we just have to get it there!
All the aid for our lorry is now being stored in one place in Leamington. It is all marvellous stuff, as new, aid which has been requested and is so badly needed. If we can get the lorry there before this winter it will help in so many ways - for the elderly, blankets for keeping them warm and other personal things specifically needed by the elderly; for mothers and babies, everything they need for their baby including nappies; for those who would be cold otherwise, lots of blankets and warm clothing for all ages; for those who desperately need to create income - yes, the recession has hit Bosnia and, as always, is even worse for refugees - there is a huge variety of tools which we are sending for every conceivable trade, so they can make a start; all those sewing machines, someone waiting to service them and then all the plans to get women in little co-operatives to start sewing, sewing for income! And there is so much more. We need to raise at least £2000 fast for the fuel to get the lorry there. Any ideas? We would be SO GRATEFUL for contributions and fundraising ideas, the sort that we an organise from a computer at home as we no longer have the energy to fundraise as we did before Joe was ill. Any contribution sent to us, no matter how small, will be gratefully received - the cost of one gallon of diesel from lots of people would be great! Thank you so much if you can respond to this appeal!

We thank, ESPECIALLY, Maggie and her team in Leamington, Trevor Padden-Hall for his involvement which made this happen and an especial mention for Christopher Bates in Leamington, Maggie's trusted helper throughout and the photographer of the wonderful pictures at time of departure.
